The President of the Senate of Canada, George J. Furey, QC, will pay an official visit to our country from April 11 to 15, at the invitation of the Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament, Konstantinos Tassoulas.
According to a relevant announcement of the Parliament, during his stay in Greece meetings are planned with the President of the Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the Speaker of the Parliament, Konstantinos Tassoulas, the Archbishop of Athens and all Greece, Minister Ieronymos & Of Religions, Niki Kerameos, the Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Christos Stylianidis, the Minister of Tourism, Vassilis Kikilias, the Deputy Minister of Development and Investment, Nikolaos Papathanasis, the representative of the Central Committee of the party for foreign affairs George Katrougalos, the chairman of the Greek-Canadian Parliamentary Friendship Group, Stavros Keletsis, the general secretary of Hellenes Abroad, I. Chrysoulakis and the mayor of Athens, Costas Bakogiannis.
Mr Furey will be accompanied by Senators Raymonde Saint-Germain, Leo Housakos and Tony Loffreda.
