The guarantee of the jobs of the employees in the NSRF programs and their utilization in the new service was also requested by their representative George Simos.

For his part, the governor of Attica, George Patoulis, described the establishment of a new service for the NSRF as “a very important development intervention, necessary for the country.”

Nikolaos Kakavas, chairman of the board of the Panhellenic Federation of Geotechnical Civil Servants, stated that he was against the bill, claiming that “a coup attempt is being made to degrade the public sector by transferring public responsibilities to a company.”

He also claimed that, for 13 articles of the bill, there was no consultation or information of the Geotechnical Chamber and asked for their withdrawal, talking about expediencies that violate any democratic principle.
