The draft law of the Ministry of Justice “Incorporation of Directive (EU) 2019/770 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 20 May 2019, regarding certain aspects concerning contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services (L 136) was submitted to the Parliament ), as well as Directive (EU) 2019/771 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 20 May 2019, regarding certain aspects concerning contracts for the sale of goods, amending Regulation (EU) 2017/2394 and Directive 2009/22/EC, and the repeal of Directive 1999/44/EC (L 136)”.
The purpose of the draft law is: a) the creation of a legal framework for the provision of digital content and digital services, which meets the requirements of modern transactions and transactions and b) the modernization of the law of sale of the Civil Code, with an emphasis on the digital dimension of the relevant contracts.
The object of the draft law is the incorporation into the Greek legal order of: a) Directive (EU) 2019/770 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of May 20, 2019, regarding certain aspects relating to contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services (L 136) and b) of Directive (EU) 2019/771 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 20 May 2019, regarding certain 3 aspects concerning contracts for the sale of goods, amending Regulation (EU) 2017/ 2394 and Directive 2009/22/EC and the repeal of Directive 1999/44/EC (L 136).
