The Fire Brigade “is at the point where building collapsed partly close to 88th Street and Collins Avenue, “according to a related tweet.

According to CNN, a separate announcement states that more than 80 rescue units are at the scene.

The Daily Mail reports that this is an 11-storey building. In one video, firefighters are seen on the scene attempting. The same post notes that there are fears of the dead or trapped in the wreckage after the collapse.
