The Minister of Finance Mr. Christos Staikouras will participate, through a teleconference, this week in the Spring Meeting of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, which takes place from today, Holy Monday 18 April.
As part of the Summit, the Minister of Finance will take part tomorrow, Holy Tuesday, April 19, in the work of the Alliance of Finance Ministers for Climate Actions, of which Greece has been a regular member for the last three years.
The aim of the Alliance is to promote strong collective action on climate change and to address its effects, which is becoming even more relevant due to the current situation.
In addition, Mr. Staikouras will participate, on Holy Thursday, April 21, in the Plenary Session of the IMFC (International Monetary and Financial Committee), as well as in the Ministerial Meeting of the International Financial Action Task Force (FATF) which aims to formulate its strategic directions Agency for Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.
