Inspired by the small and charming city of Marbella, located in the south of Spain new Cocina y Tal Paseo has a drinks list signed by the award-winning bartender Matheus Cunha and gastronomy that brings reinterpretations of Iberian cuisine with touches of Brazilianness.
With opening scheduled for November 17th , the house is divided into two spaces, between the internal area and a balcony. With capacity for 120 people comfortably seated on the ground floor, the second floor is more relaxed and brings a lounge concept, ideal for those who want to have a drink or private events and cocktails.
“We want to bring this innovative concept to the noblest region of São Paulo, Jardins. Our proposal is to offer an Iberian cuisine with touches of Brazilian spice and drinks to be enjoyed in a refined environment with architecture and landscaping inspired by the city of Marbella”, conceptualizes Daniel of Padua, partner of Paseo Cocina y Tal.

The menu is presented within a new concept called IMB (Ibérico Moderno Brasileiro), created by Renato Cury, partner of Paseo Cocina y Tal and Grupo Ideia, which already manages other restaurants and bars in São Paulo, such as High Line, Seu Justino, Oh Freguês and Pracinha do Seu Justino. They still haven’t disclosed which dishes to expect from this mix, but taking into account that the house is inspired by a town on the coast of Spain, the bet is that the menu has lots of fish and seafood.
The exclusive drinks menu developed by the bartender Matheus Cunha recognized as one of the best professionals in Latin America, also promises unusual side dishes in a menu that intends to explain the origin of each drink and the production process.
