Passenger who slipped while running to catch flight claims $6.4 million in damages

A man is suing for $6.4 million after he slipped and hit his head while running to an airport to catch his flight. The protagonist of the case is the Swiss businessman Andreas Wuchner who was injured at London’s Heathrow Airport in 2017. According to a Business Insider report, the man missed his flight and had to take the next one. So he went with a co-worker to Starbucks and they got four coffees, two espressos and two macchiatos to pass the time. When it was time for them to go to the entrance gate, Wuchner started walking quickly, coffees in hand. Then, he stepped on spilled liquor and lost his balance, hitting his head. In the court held in 2021, he won compensation of 167,000 dollars, but he asked to get more money, considering that he was not covered by the first amount.
