Taking a look at the ranking, on the podium of the most popular passwords we find 123456 which would be used by over 2.5 million users but hacked over 23 million times, followed by 123456789 chosen by around 960 thousand people e picture1 found more than 11 thousand times to the 370 thousand people who are using it. Obviously, there is no shortage of secret words that are usually composed by typing a group of neighboring characters such as 123123, qwerty, asdfghjkl O abc123 which, overall, are in use by over half a million people. On the other hand, however, among the passwords of the group of names there is aaron431 which comes in 18th place as the most popular, replacing Ashley which dropped from position 31 – in 2019 – to 24.
