A pastor in the Congo and specifically in the north of the country, he has been arrested, because he murdered his 21-year-old son, with him claiming that he did the crime, “because God told him to”.
This man, who calls himself “Pastor Galako”, killed his child, a high school student, last Wednesday. According to eyewitnesses who spoke to AFP, he cut his throat with a knife because he “heard the voice of God asking him to make a great sacrifice to become strong.”
According to AFP, two of his accomplices, members of his church, are also being held by the police as his accomplices.
Classmates of the murdered young man attempted to take the law into their own hands and clashed with police officers who tried to stop them. At least two people, a student and a fishmonger, were killed and nine others injured by bullets.
