Then it’s up to his girlfriend, his sister Marise and his friend Josra, who followed the social campaign for his release. From Mansoura he should now go to Cairo. It is unclear whether he has a signature requirement or restrictions on travel within Egypt.

The next hearing in the trial is on February 1, 2022 and he will have to stay in the country until then. The student ofUniversity of Bologna he is out of prison, but not free from charges of spreading false information against the Egyptian state. For now, he has a suspension of detention pending the next hearing. After 22 months, however, he finally got out of prison.
