Paul McCartney announces shows in Latin America; Brazil is left out

Paul McCartney announced new tour dates “Got Back Tour” with presentations in Latin America. Despite the proximity, the Brazil was not included in the list which has countries such as Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and Peru planned during its passage.

His first show of 2024 will be held on October 1st in Montevideo, Uruguay, where he sang 10 years ago. In Buenos Aires, he returns after five years and in Córdoba, the wait was even longer, eight years.

In Santiago, the wait was also five years, a city where McCartney has already performed four times. In Peru, he makes his second visit, after a decade.

  • October 5th: River Plate Stadium | Buenos Aires, Argentina
  • October 11: Monumental Stadium | Santiago, Chile
  • October 23: Mario Alberto Kempes | Córdoba, Argentina
  • October 27th: National Stadium | Peru, Lima

General sales for these presentations begin this Friday (14). Paul launched his “Got Back” tour in 2022 and last year, he performed 18 shows, nine of which were in Brazil.

At 81 years old, the singer can sustain a three-hour show, full of hits and classics and with a lot of interaction with the audience. His last performance in the country took place at Maracanã and was broadcast live on the Star+ and Disney+ streaming platforms.
