Paula Fernandes publishes video singing “Long Live”, feat with Taylor Swift

Paula Fernandes did not sing the partnership she has with Taylor Swift during the North American artist’s visit to Brazil as fans expected, but she did not leave them completely in the lurch. This Wednesday morning (29), the Brazilian artist published a video singing “Long Live” on her Instagram.

With a guitar in the living room, lots of friendship bracelets on her arm and the Portuguese and English version on the tip of her tongue, Paula Fernandes sang the collaboration released in 2012, for the album “Speak Now”, by Taylor Swift.

In the comments of the publication, Internet users lamented the fact that Paula did not make a special appearance in the blonde’s shows (affectionate nickname given by fans to Taylor) here in Brazil.

“The only thing missing was you on that stage. Who knows next time, right?” commented one. “I still can’t accept that she didn’t call you,” wrote another.

Paula Fernandes was invited to attend Taylor’s last show in Brazil, which took place on November 26 at the Allianz Parque stadium, in São Paulo. However, her presence was only requested to watch the show, and not to go on stage as fans were expecting. “Long Live” is a fixed song on the “The Eras Tour” setlist and Taylor Swift performs the song at every show.

Before the performance began, Paula Fernandes took advantage of the moment to chat and exchange friendship bracelets with fans, in addition to leading a “Long Live” choir in the middle of the stands.
