Paxful launches Pay service to pay for goods and services in bitcoins

Peer-to-peer trading platform Paxful has announced the full launch of the Pay tool, which will allow store owners to receive payments in bitcoins.

Thanks to the Paxful Pay service, customers of any online store will be able to pay for goods using more than 400 methods. After that, the funds will be converted into bitcoins and credited to the seller’s electronic wallet.

While the tool only supports conversion to BTC, Paxful plans to add support for USDT and other stablecoins in the future. In addition, there will be a conversion of bitcoins to local fiat currency.

“We tested Paxful Pay with certain stores, which number slightly over 100, as well as in certain regions. We tried to work out and improve the buying process. We are now officially launching the service, and we hope that many sellers around the world will use it. The tool should provide better financial freedom for both sellers and buyers and increase the adoption of cryptocurrencies, ”said Arthur Schaback, CEO and co-founder of Paxful.

As a reminder, USDT support appeared on the Paxful platform in September last year. The number of users of the site exceeds 6 million people.
