In April 2021, CD Projekt announced the sale of 30 million copies of The Witcher 3 and 50 million copies of all games in the series. Over the past 12 months, players have bought over 10 million copies.
CD Projekt confirmed the delay in the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and also announced that the new part of the The Witcher series is being created based on Unreal Engine 5.
The cyberpunk role-playing game has sold over 18 million copies. Cyberpunk 2077 expansion will be released in 2023. It has also been confirmed that The Molasses Flood, which became part of CD Projekt in October 2021, is developing a new game based on one of the CD Projekt universes.
