Payments from the Ministry of Labor, e-EFKA and DYPA, until May 27

Payments of over 1.3 billion euros to more than 2.5 million beneficiaries will be made by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, e-EFKA and the Public Employment Service (DYPA), in the week of 23-27 May, during which will begin the payment of the main and auxiliary pensions of June, which will be completed on Monday 30 May, while the part of the Easter gift covered by the state budget will be paid to the employees who are included in the “CO-WORK” Mechanism.

Particularly:

1. The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs will pay tomorrow, Monday, May 23, 871,472 euros to 28,706 beneficiaries, who joined the Employment Enhancement Mechanism “SY-ERGASIA”, for the payment of the holiday allowance 2022 covered by budget.

2. The following payments will be made by e-EFKA, within the framework of the regular payments of the institution:

Regarding the payment of the main and auxiliary pensions in June:

– On Thursday, May 26, 547.8 million euros will be paid to 968,278 retirees from the former bodies OAEE, OGA, NAT, EBRD, ETAT, ETAP-MME and PPC.

– On Friday, May 27, 749.5 million euros will be paid to 1,481,632 retirees from the former IKA-ETAM, banks, OTE and the State, whose AMKA expires in 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.

– The process of payment of the June pensions will be completed on Monday, May 30, with the payment to the pensioners coming from the former IKA-ETAM, the banks, the OTE and the State, whose AMKA expires in 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8.

Regarding other regular payments:

– EUR 17 million will be paid to 750 beneficiaries following a one-off decision.

Finally, in the context of the extraordinary payments of e-EFKA, 180,000 euros will be paid to 1,000 insured persons for overdue health benefits.

3. The following payments will be made by the Public Employment Service (DYPA):

– EUR 11 million to 38,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits.

– EUR 25 million will be paid to 17,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment schemes.

– 700,000 euros will be paid to 1,000 mothers for a subsidized maternity leave.

– Payment of 1.5 million euros to 500 beneficiaries under public benefit programs.
