Payments of 78.2 million euros to 80,500 beneficiaries from the Ministry of Labor, e-EFKA and OAED

A total of 78.2 million euros will be paid to over 80,500 beneficiaries in the framework of the planned payments by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, e-EFKA and OAED, from today until November 19.

In particular, according to a relevant announcement:

1. From the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, today will be paid 255,982 euros for 581 payments of beneficiaries, related to suspensions of employment contracts for the year 2020 and the year 2021 for the payment of special purpose compensation (balance of payments).

2. From today until November 19, the following payments will be made from e-EFKA, within the framework of the regular payments of the institution:

– € 12.7 million will be paid to 24,291 beneficiaries for cash benefits (maternity, pregnancy, sickness, accident, funeral expenses).

– 17.7 million euros will be paid to 580 beneficiaries following the issuance of one-off decisions.

– 33,000 euros will be paid to 50 beneficiaries for inheritance benefits of supplementary pension.

3. The following payments will be made by OAED:

– EUR 15 million to 39,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits.

– EUR 28 million will be paid to 8,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment schemes.

– EUR 4 million will be paid to 7,000 beneficiaries under public benefit programs.

– 500,000 euros will be paid to 1,000 mothers for a subsidized maternity leave.
