This last Friday (22), the Civil Police (PC) seized a boat valued at R$ 1 million, in Balneário Camboriú (SC). The seizure was made during an action to combat embezzlement, a crime that involves committing scams.
According to delegate Aderlon Angelo Camargo, the suspicion is that the vessel belongs to a businessman from São Paulo, victim of fraud and embezzlement. The crimes are being investigated and the suspect in the case has business in Balneário Camboriú.
According to the PC note, the person under investigation was not present at the time of the boat’s seizure, but he has been responsible for similar crimes since 2018 in the same region of Santa Catarina. Furthermore, Chief Aderlon states that there may be more victims and highlights the importance of reporting these crimes.
“It is important that these victims file a police report so that we can further the investigation, which continues,” noted the delegate in the note.
