PCC leader Marcola is transferred from Brasília prison to Porto Velho

Head of the criminal faction First Command of the Capital (PCC), Marco Willians Herbas Camacho, better known as Marcola, was transferred this Thursday (3) from the federal prison in Brasília to another prison, according to the National Penitentiary Department – ​​Depen. .

The maximum security operation involved other security bodies that are part of the structure of the Ministry of Justice and Security and the Secretariat of Public Security, such as the Federal Police, the Federal Highway Police and the National Public Security Force.

Depen reported that Marcola was taken away for security reasons and that the transfers of prisoners are routine, they happen on the advice of penitentiary intelligence, which is essential in the strategy for combating organized crime in the country.

When he was transferred, Marcola was handcuffed, wearing a federal prisoner’s uniform and flip-flops. He was led by heavily armed men to the plane that took him to his new destination. According to information obtained by the CNN Brazil, the new prison institution is the Federal Penitentiary of Porto Velho, in Rondônia. Marcola had been imprisoned in Brasília since 2019.

The Minister of State for Justice and Public Security of Brazil, Anderson Torres, published a post on Twitter about the transfer operation, describing the act as “meticulous planning”.
