Although the value of the cap expansion was approved, the term of validity of this extraordinary rule, however, was reduced from two to one year. Other changes were made to the text of the PEC by the rapporteur, deputy Elmar Nascimento (União-BA).
The Ibovespa had a positive impact on the proposal deadline, ending the previous day with an increase of more than 2%, while the dollar closed the day before with a sharp drop of 1.97%.
