Approved PEC
The Senate approved the text of the PEC dos Precatórios, the project that will finance the R$ 400 Brazilian Aid. The proposal goes back to the Chamber for analysis by the deputies, as the text was amended by the senators.
Gas Assistance
President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) signed the decree that releases the payment of Gas Aid to low-income families. The bill creates the aid in the amount of 50% of the average price of a 13 kg kitchen cylinder.
Vaccine passport
The City of Rio de Janeiro backed off and will no longer charge a passport for the vaccine for Covid-19 in taxis, transport by application and shopping malls. The mandatory presentation of the document that proves the vaccination is still required in bars, restaurants, beauty salons, hotels and inns.
reduced range
The government of São Paulo reduced from five to four months the interval between the application of the booster dose against Covid-19. The measure is a recommendation of the scientific committee on coronavirus, and had also been requested by the city of São Paulo.
test requirement
The United States has announced a series of measures against Covid-19 amid concerns over the Ômicron variant. Among the actions is the requirement for a negative Covid-19 test done the day before for travelers arriving in the country.
