PeckShieldAlert: “The Internet is flooded with advertising of fake Elon Musk tokens”

Ads for fake assets using Elon Musk’s identity have swept the internet as the deal to acquire Twitter was closed.

According to PeckShieldAlert, just a day before billionaire Elon Musk finally acquires Twitter, several tokens were issued on the Ethereum network and Binance Smart Chain with the names: “TWIT”, “Chief Twit”, “Chief Elon Twit” , “CryptoTwitter” and “Twitter Inu”.

PeckShieldAlert cybersecurity experts warn community about the dangers of being involved in such projects, especially since the four fake Elon Musk tokens have already fallen in price by 98%.

Recent news about the completion of the deal to buy the social network Twitter led to an increase in the quotes of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency, which Musk has repeatedly promoted. Over the past week, its rate has grown by 30%, which was the best result among the thirty largest cryptocurrencies by capitalization.
