The Camisa Verde Branco samba school will pay tribute Cazuza in the plot for Carnival 2025 and Pedro Bial, childhood friend of the musician who died in 1990, praised the tribute.
“The sky will tremble. It’s Saint Peter, all the saints… everyone will go after Cazuza. We will parade from heaven to earth with the Camisa Verde e Branco that Cazuza made its theme. I’m moved and happy. I’m sure this parade will go further. Cazuza will be present not only as a guest of honor, but as the entertainer of this party,” declared the presenter on Camisa Verde Branco’s Instagram.
Cazuza and the presenter were friends when they were at school. Bial has stated in several interviews about his first binge with his friend.
