The Brazilian singer himself shared the news on his social networks, this Thursday (2). His presentation is scheduled to take place at “Leme Stage” in front of the main stage – between Rua Prado Júnior and Avenida Princesa Isabel, in Copacabana.
“I'm going to lead the official after of Madonna's show! I’m honored to be part of this moment,” she wrote in the caption of her post. “We’re going to make history in Copacabana on Saturday!” she added.
Madonna's free concert in Rio de Janeiro will mark the end of the tour “The Celebration Tour “, which celebrates 40 years of his career.
Madonna is due to take the stage at 9:45 pm on Saturday, but, from 7 pm, some DJs will perform opening sets. At 8pm, American DJ Diplo will be in charge of the show that will precede the vocal performance of “Vogue” and “Like A Prayer”.
On TV Globo, it will be possible to follow the event after the soap opera “Renascer”, starting at 9:45 pm. Globoplay streaming, which replicates the broadcaster's material, will be broadcast free of charge for non-subscribers during the show.
On Multishow, a paid TV channel, the broadcast will begin after “TVZ special Madonna”. These specials will be led by Kenya Sade and Marcos Mion as commentators.
