The singer Madonna performs on Copacabana beach this Saturday (04). For those who are still excited after the queen of pop's show, there will be several party options to continue enjoying.
However, the official after will be the Brazilian DJ Pedro Sampaio .
“Expectations are very high”, said Pedro Sampaio about the expectation of performing after Madonna, in an interview with CNN .
“When I received the invitation, I was very happy and [também pela] structure that was provided for me, also for the after, was very interesting”, he said. “I'm very happy, I think we're going to have a record. I think the Madonna effect will be greater than expected in Rio de Janeiro.”
In addition to the set full of hits, such as the recent “Poc Poc”, “Cavalho” and “Colocadão”, Pedro also plans to play new versions of Madonna's hits.
“I’m very restless, right?” he begins, laughing. “So, as soon as I received the invitation and we got everything ready, worked out all the last details, I started producing some versions of some of the songs.”
One of the tracks fans can expect to hear is Pedro Sampaio's version of “Hung Up”. The DJ performed a version of the pop hit mixed with funk, saying he played with the song's signature melody.
“'Hung Up' is a very rich song, it has several elements that interest me a lot in the song and it was one of the first that I decided to remix for the special show”, he detailed. 'I played a lot with the sun [da música]I think it has everything to do with funk.”
“I think people will like it”, he concluded.
Pedro Sampaio performs after Madonna's show on Palco Leme, in front of the main stage and between Rua Prado Júnior and Av. Princesa Isabel.
