The “magician” of the ball entered the intensive care unit again, Pelé, as broadcast by the Brazilian ESPN.
The great legend of Brazilian and world football, re-entered the Intensive Care Unit at the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo, as reported on Friday (17/09) by ESPN Brasil, talking about an obvious deterioration of his health, just 24 hours after from the unit after tumor removal surgery in the large intestine.
The hospital, for its part, currently stressed that it does not have to provide up-to-date information on the matter. According to the Brazilian section of ESPN, the 80-year-old Pelé, three-time World Cup winner (1958, 1962, 1970), was re-admitted to the ICU due to acute reflux.
Last Tuesday (14/09) when he left the Intensive Care Unit, Pelé wrote in an Instagram message to his fans that he was ready for “another 90 minutes, plus the delays”.
The great veteran ace has also suffered from hip problems for a few years and cannot walk without help. His public appearances had already been limited before the COVID-19 pandemic and he has since taken a few short walks outside his home near Santos.
