Pentax K-3 Mark III flagship DSLR postponed again

Ricoh, which owns the Pentax brand, has announced another delay in the launch of its flagship APS-C DSLR.

The development of the Pentax K-3 Mark III camera was announced in September 2019. Then the manufacturer promised to release a new product in 2020.

However, in the fall of 2020, the company acknowledged that it “will take a little longer.” Therefore, she limited herself to publishing all the technical characteristics of the device and a new promise – to release the camera during the CP + 2021 photography exhibition, scheduled for February 25-28, 2021.

Today a message has appeared on the Ricoh website that will upset fans of the brand. It says that “some parts of the product are delayed” and “it will take longer to achieve exceptional performance and the highest quality”. In other words, the release has been delayed again. The manufacturer promises to announce a new term in the near future.
