Disney announced the Third Season of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” On Friday (14)-even before the second year’s launch of the series.
“As the prophecy predicted. Percy Jackson and the Olympians will be back to season 3 on Disney+ ! ”Wrote the official profile of the series on the social networks.
The first season of the series based on Rick Jordan’s books in December 2024. The announcement of the renewal for the second year was made in February this year. Now, a month later, the streaming has confirmed that a third season is also under development.
The plot follows Percy, a 12-year-old modern demigod, which is beginning to accept his newly discovered divine powers when the god of heaven, Zeus, accuses him of stealing his master ray. With the help of his friends Grover and Annabeth, he embarks on a great adventure to find the lightning and restore order in Olympus.
In season two, the character Percy Jackson returns to the half-swan camp after a year and finds his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth is changing, he discovers that he has a cyclops as a brother, Grover has disappeared and the camp is surrounded by the forces of Kronos. Percy’s journey will take him out of the map and directly to the deadly sea of monsters, where a secret destination awaits Poseidon’s son.
The universe created by Rick Riodian consists of five books: “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” , “The Sea of Monsters” , “The Curse of the Titan” , “The Battle of the Labyrinth” and “The Last Olympian” .
