“Percy Jackson”: Characters from the 2nd season of the series reunite for the first time

The panel of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” during D23 on Saturday (10) marked the first public appearance of the six regular actors from the second season together .

The stars of the series Walker Scobell (Percy Jackson), Leah Sava Jeffries (Annabeth Chase), Aryan Simhadri (Grover Underwood) shared the stage with Charlie Bushnell (Luke Castellan) and Dior Goodjohn (Clarisse La Rue), who join the series regular cast this season. Additionally, the panel also featured a surprise appearance by Daniel Diemer (Tyson).

Toby Stephens (Poseidon) and Jason Mantzoukas (Mr. D/Dionysus) were also in attendance.

During the event, Sandra Bernhard, Margaret Cho and Kristen Schaal were also confirmed as guest stars in the second season to play the Grey Sisters. Bernhard will play Wrath, Schaal will be Storm and Cho will play the role of Wasp.

“Percy Jackson & the Olympians” Season 2

In the new season, the character Percy Jackson returns to Camp Half-Blood after a year and finds his world turned upside down.

His friendship with Annabeth is changing, he discovers he has a Cyclops for a brother, Grover has gone missing, and the camp is surrounded by Kronos’ forces. Percy’s journey will take him off the map and straight to the deadly Sea of ​​Monsters, where a secret destiny awaits the son of Poseidon.

The second season of the series is based on “The Sea of ​​Monsters”, the second book in the best-selling Percy Jackson series, written by Rick Riordan.

The new season does not yet have a release date on Disney+.
