The Civil Police of Pernambuco reported, this Friday (23), that there was no trawler on Avenida Boa Viagem, in the South Zone of Recife, after a video (see below) go viral on social media showing restaurant customers leaving their tables in a hurry. The images are from last Saturday (17).
In note (read below), the Secretary of Social Defense states that in the images “there is a misunderstanding or false alarm on the part of the clients, without having been noticed, either by the video surveillance cameras or by the teams of the 19th Battalion, which were in the place and surroundings at night. of the 17th of September, any occurrence of robbery or theft”.
The text informs that “the calls made to 190, made by people who were in the establishment, were not confirmed after checking on the ground by the Military Police”.
“Contacted, owners and employees of restaurants in the area could not explain what motivated the movement of customers. There was also no record of a complaint or appearance of alleged victims at the Boa Viagem Police Station”, concludes the note.

The Secretary of Social Defense clarifies that there was no trawler along the entire length of Avenida Boa Viagem, in the South Zone of Recife, including the region where the Alfaiate restaurant and bar is located.
