Personal trainer Guilherme Ramires, 28 years old, disappeared while swimming at Praia do Campeche, in Florianópolis, on the coast of Santa Catarina, on Sunday afternoon (10). According to the Fire Department, the corporation was called at around 2:15 pm by the boy's girlfriend, who was with him on the beach.
On a social network, Lays Lima said that he was on the sand when he noticed that Guilherme was unable to return from the area where he was in the sea. At that moment, according to the young woman's report, she called the Lifeguard close to the scene and they started heading towards the personnel.
According to the girlfriend, it was quite windy on the beach at the time they were trying to rescue the man, and the current dragged the boy to the bottom. At a certain point, Lays said she could no longer identify where her boyfriend was.
During the outburst, Guilherme's girlfriend thanked her for the messages of support she has received and said she still had hope. “I’m praying hard for a miracle, something, for him to be okay,” Lays said. On social media, the boy presents himself as a personal trainer and mentor, having more than 12 thousand followers on one of his accounts.
The Santa Catarina Fire Department reported that searches were carried out until the early evening of Sunday (10), with the use of watercraft and garrison patrolling the shore. The Águia aircraft (PMSC) also flew over the site. The searches resumed around 6:30 am this Monday (11).
