Peru’s prime minister, Gustavo Adrianchen, resigned on Tuesday, the day before the scheduled vote in parliament for a distrust proposal against him. His resignation came in a period of growing social discontent due to the outbreak of crime, with an emphasis on the incidents of blackmail and the murder of thirteen goldsmiths. Mr Adriancen’s resignation, who was considered the powerful man of the government yesterday, puts in a new test by the anti -leading President Dina Boluarte, who is called upon to proceed with a new reshuffle of her government, a few hours after announcing the unexpected minister. He may maintain ministers in their positions, but he is obliged to call a new prime minister, who then must receive a vote of confidence.
