Peru Week brings special menus to Brazil for lovers of Peruvian cuisine

From the 1st to the 15th of November, the Peru Weekthe main action to promote the Peruvian tourism and gastronomy promoted by the Peruvian tourism office in the Brazilian market.

101 companies will be involved in the event, including 50 tour operators, three consolidators and 48 restaurants . The action will be present in the 5 regions of Brazil, in 11 states, totaling 14 cities in the country.

During these days, participating restaurants will offer a fixed-price menu that includes a starter, a main course and a dessert. In Sao Paulo houses such as La Peruana, Rinconcito Peruano, Cantón, QCeviche!, Rancho dos Peruanos, Q’Chica, Punto Peru, Mistura Gastronomia Peruana, Llamas Restaurante, Lo Sal Peruano and El Huarique Cocina Peruana participate in the festival.

At the La Peruana from chef Marisabel Woodman the special menu costs BRL 165 and comes with an entry that can be the Northern Ceviche made with the catch of the day and shrimp marinated in coriander tiger leche and finished with breaded squid accompanied by crispy manioc and cancha corn or Anticuchos which are beef heart skewers marinated in anticuchero sauce accompanied by green corn, golden potatoes and house sauce. As a main course, the options are: Arroz Chaufa: Oriental seafood rice with legumes, pork rinds, char sou sauce and sesame oil, under a layer of creamy tortilla or Tacu Tacu de la Isla: green corn and rice pepian taco, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Topped with octopus, shrimp, squid and mussels. Creamy Salsa with Ají Amarillo and Doré Squid. To close the meal Picarones: fried sweet potato and pumpkin dumplings, bathed in brown sugar, figs and cinnamon honey. Accompanies cream gelato (2 und) or Arroz con Leche: Creamy sweet rice.

At the Peruvian Rinconcito all units of the house, except for Shopping Tamboré, will participate in the 9The edition of Peru week. For a fixed amount of BRL 100, the customer will be entitled to the fish ceviche or the causa rellena as a starter, the main course may be mixed chaufa rice based on meat, chicken, shrimp and fried rice with seasonings Peruvians or the special salted tagliatelle with meat, chicken, shrimp and shellfish and a dessert that alternates between servings of dulce de leche alfajores or limeño sigh.

This campaign, which has taken place annually since 2013, with the exception of 2021, due to the pandemic, has also established itself as a great opportunity for those who want to visit the neighboring country.
