THE Dmitry Peskov responded to Emmanuel Macron’s criticism of her tight quartet of Russia with its countries Africaparticularly with states that were former French colonies, stressing that constructive relations are developing.
“Russia is developing (with African countries) friendly, constructive relations on the basis of mutual respect,” the spokesman of the Russian presidency told reporters.
“These relations are not and cannot be directed against third countries,” he also said.
In an interview earlier today with franceinfo, RFI and France 24 media, French President Emmanuel Macron said Russia “is a destabilizing force in Africa, through private mercenary armies that prey, committing atrocities, on civilian populations,” saying that “the evidence for this has been recorded by the United Nations in the Central African Republic regarding its action [ιδιωτικής στρατιωτικής εταιρίας] Wagner”.
