THE First smartphone for pets, the petphone was presented by the Chinese company GLOCALME DURING MWC 2025 event in which major launches of technology companies take place.

The device has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS connections and is coupled to the bug collar, enabling instant contact between the tutor and pet and allowing commands to calm or interact.

In addition, through Artificial Intelligence (AI) the device can detect agitated barks or meows and inform the responsible for an application.

The petphone are allowed to automatically play voice recordings when it is detected stirring on the PET and live calls, made through the speakers who, according to the presentation of Glocem, have a volume that does not impair the hearing of animals.

To help locate the pet, if it gets lost, the device emits sounds and lights, as well as allowing the establishment of a geographical limitation that sends warnings to the tutor if the pet exceeds the delimited barriers.

The smartphone is waterproof, has features to play music for the pet and offers tools to monitor his physical activities – showing the racing routes and the caloric expenditure of the animal. In addition, tutors can communicate with each other through their own social network.

Globalme said the forecast is that the device will be launched in the second half of 2025, but did not announce dates or the price of the product.
