Pete Davidson manages to amaze us for the umpteenth time: it could use this moment of popularity to do absolutely anything and instead, on the contrary, it will go into space and do it for a good cause as well.

In May of last year Davidson went into space to save the Space X’s Mars colonists Elon Musk in a sketch of the Saturday Night Live and now he will really leave for a real space mission.

Pete Davidson will ride Jeff Bezos’ Blue Originalong with five other people, all business tycoons, investors and entrepreneurs working in the STEM fields.

This mission is Blue Origin’s twentieth total and fourth in flight with humans. Bezos founded Blue Origin in 2000, making it one of several major private space flight companies, including Elon Musk’s SpaceX, Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic, and French firm Arianespace SA. Davidson is not the first celeb that Blue Origin has sent into orbit: there were also William Shatner and Michael Strahan.
