Petrobras must readjust prices and the market has the worst week in 2 years

After three months without readjusting the price of Gasoline a Petrobras should announce a new increase in fuel this Friday (17), after a meeting marked by disagreement between the company’s directors. The gap between international and local prices reaches 26% in the state-owned company’s accounts, which could compromise imports and supplies to the country.

According to the analysts, Brazil is dependent on refining the diesel and, therefore, must follow international price parity to be able to do business with the rest of the world and thus maintain the fuel in the country.

In the markets, American futures and European stock markets are trying to recover after falling more than 3% in the indexes on Thursday (16), after an increase in interest rates in the main economies of the world.

Presented by Thais Herédia and Priscila Yasbek, the CNN Money presents a balance of news issues that influence markets, finances and the direction of society and the dynamics of power in Brazil and in the world.
