Petrobras production in April rose 2.2% compared to March, to 2.815 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d), returning to the level of January this year, according to information from the National Petroleum Agency, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
A , up 2% against March, and natural gas production returned to the level of 100 million cubic meters per day (m3/d), also recorded in January, and closed the month with an average production of 100.8 million m3/d.
National production, on the other hand, rose 0.8% in April against March, to 3.859 million boe/d, of which 2.988 million b/d of oil, 0.6% above March; and 136.8 million m3/d of natural gas, 1.7% more than in the previous month.
Production in the pre-salt also increased, to 2.911 million boe/d, representing 75.45% of the total produced in the country.
The Tupi field remains the largest producing field, contributing 40.9% of the oil produced in the pre-salt, followed by Búzios, with 24.8%.
Tupi’s oil production, however, fell by 5.33% in April, and natural gas by 4.14%.
