Petrobras reduces gasoline sales price to distributors

Petrobras announced a reduction in the average sale price of gasoline A for distributors. The value will go from R$ 3.53 to R$ 3.28 per liter, a reduction of R$ 0.25 per liter, as of this Friday (2).

This Thursday’s reduction is the fourth announced by the company in less than two months.

“This reduction follows the evolution of reference prices and is consistent with Petrobras’ pricing practice, which seeks to balance its prices with the market, but without passing on to domestic prices the conjunctural volatility of international quotations and the interest rate. exchange rate,” the state-owned company said in a statement.

The oil company also says that, considering the mandatory mixture of 73% of gasoline A and 27% of anhydrous ethanol for the composition of gasoline sold at stations, the company’s share in the consumer price will increase from R$ 2.57, on average, to R$ 2.39 for each liter sold at the pump.
