Petrobras announced this Wednesday (28) a readjustment in the sale prices of Aviation Kerosene (QAV) for distributors. As of October 1, fuel will be reduced by 0.84%.
As highlighted by the state-owned company, this is the third consecutive reduction in QAV prices, which had already been reduced by 10.4% in September, and by 2.6% in August.
“According to a practice that dates back to the last 20 years, QAV price adjustments are monthly and defined through a contractual formula negotiated with the distributors. Petrobras’ QAV sales prices for distribution companies seek balance with the international market and follow the variations in the value of the product and the exchange rate, up and down, with adjustments applied on a monthly basis, mitigating the daily volatility of international quotations and exchange rates”, Petrobras announced in a note.
