The Federal Police reported this Tuesday (8) that it arrested a man for attempted murder against a road police officer, during the unlocking of a BR-470 highway, in Rio do Sul (SC), on Monday night (7). ).
The man, who identified himself as a business administrator, was taken by the PRF to the PF Police Station in Itajaà (SC), where an arrest warrant was issued in the act, already approved by the Federal Court.
Witnesses heard in testimony said that, right at the beginning of the protest, the administrator threw a stone at a police officer who was working to unblock the highway, hitting the agent in the face. After that, he hit the policeman, who was wearing a helmet at the time, with an iron bar, without causing serious injury.
The man also allegedly used a wooden batten to attack other police officers who were clearing the road.
He was interrogated and then sent to a prison in Itajaà (SC), where he is at the disposal of justice. He must answer for the crimes of attempted murder, resistance to the execution of a legal act, crime of hindering and preventing the operation of means of transport and incitement to crime.
