Federal Police investigators believe, based on investigations, that more fugitives that make up the first command of the capital (CCP) are in Bolivia .
According to investigation, Marcos Roberto de Almeida, the Tuta, would not be an isolated case. The wanted was arrested on Friday night by the PF with Bolivian police and support from Interpol.
Members of the PF and the International Police say that the Bolivia became the fate of several fugitives in Brazil .
Intelligence reports point out that fugitive criminals are mainly concentrated in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, the first city after the border of Brazil and where Tuta was arrested.
For the PF, Tuta was a priority target to be arrested. In 2019, when Marcola’s right-hand man was arrested in Mozambique, Tuta had an important role in movement of the CCP.
He was already in support of the smoke, according to investigations, and was linked to the consulate of Mozambique when the smoke was arrested in Maputo, capital of the country.
PF members believe that with the arrest of Tuta, a thud was made in the organizational chart of international drug trafficking and the group’s money laundering, which uses Bolivia as a ‘bunker’.

Marcos Roberto de Almeida, the Tuta, appointed as a replacement for Marcola in the faction, was arrested in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
According to the Federal Police, who carried out the operation in conjunction with the Bolivian police, the arrest took place for the use of false document. According to the PF, “the first steps indicate that man can be one of the main articulators of an international money laundering scheme linked to a criminal organization.”

Tuta was responsible, according to the São Paulo Public Prosecution Service, for planning the rescue of other CCP leaders in Brazil’s arrests and architecting the death of authorities investigating the faction.
