PF combats the theft of containers with illegal goods in Ceará

The Federal Police (PF) launched this Friday (25th), the Fuzanglong operation, to combat the theft of goods in containers at the Port of Mucuripe, in Ceará, whose value is above R$ 11 million.

The PF carries out eleven search and seizure warrants in the homes of those investigated in the city of Fortaleza (CE), issued by the Federal Court. Sixty police officers and four Federal Revenue auditors also participate in the action. The police are seeking to deepen the investigation into the theft of 12 containers from the Port of Mucuripe, in the capital of Ceará.

In them, goods imported illegally from China, which had been seized by the Federal Revenue, were stored. The PF investigations showed some people involved in the theft of the containers, with representation and judicial granting of the searches in the residential and commercial addresses of the investigated, including partners of companies that acted in the importation of the goods, employees, former employees and service providers of the Port of Porto. Mucuripe.

Those involved will respond for qualified theft and criminal association, and other crimes discovered during the investigations. Fuzanglong refers to Chinese mythology, a Chinese dragon of hidden treasures.
