According to a note sent by the corporation, a health card, pants, flip-flops and a pair of boots belonging to Araújo were found; and a pair of boots and a backpack with clothes from Dom Phillips.

Senate to vote on fuel ICMS ceiling this Monday (13)

The Federal Senate is due to vote this Monday (13) on the bill approved by the House that limits the Tax on Circulation of Goods and Services (ICMS) on fuel. The information had already been anticipated by the project’s rapporteur, Senator Fernando Bezerra (MDB-PE), last Tuesday (7).

Bezerra maintained in his report the structure of the text approved by the Chamber. The proposal classifies fuels, public transport, communication and electricity as essential goods, which means that the ICMS levied on these products by the states is limited to 17%, with immediate effect after the project is sanctioned.

Ministry of Health confirms third case of monkeypox

The Ministry of Health confirmed this Sunday night (12) the third case of monkeypox in Brazil. This is a 51-year-old man who is isolated in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, after a trip to Portugal.

The case was reported to Health by the Center for Strategic Information on Health Surveillance (CIEVS) of Rio Grande do Sul after laboratory confirmation by RT-PCR performed by the Instituto Adolfo Lutz in São Paulo (IAL/SP).

According to a note from the ministry, the patient is in isolation, with a stable clinical condition, without complications and is being monitored by the State and Municipal Health Departments.
