The Federal Police launched, on the morning of Thursday (22), Operation Panacea, with the objective of dismantling a criminal group responsible for the falsification and use of false degree degrees in nursing .
The actions took place in the municipalities of Eldorado and Miranda, in Mato Grosso do Sul, where court orders issued by the Federal Court of the 3rd Region were enforced.
According to the PF, the investigation identified that the suspects used forged diplomas to achieve professional registration with the Regional Nursing Council of Mato Grosso do Sul (Coren-MS). With this, they were able to act illegally in public health units in the state.
THE CNN contacted Coren-MS but got no return until the publication of this article.
During the operation, documents and electronic devices were seized, which will now be analyzed to identify others involved in the scheme and reinforce the evidence of the crimes investigated.
Those involved may be responsible for forgery of public document, use of false document, ideological falsehood, illegal exercise of the profession, estelionate and criminal organization.
