The Federal Police launched, on the morning of Thursday (8), an operation with the objective of dismantling a criminal supply scheme and illegal transportation of aviation fuel employed in logistical support to illegal mining on Yanomami indigenous land in Roraima.
The PF says that the investigated, pilots, individuals and legal entities associated with mining, acquired and provided a significant amount of aviation fuel for the supply of aircraft linked to illegal mining activities in indigenous area.
The operation meets 10 search and seizure warrants, eight in Roraima and two in São Paulo (SP), in addition to the blockade of values and kidnapping of goods in the approximate amount of R $ 16 million.
The investigated may be responsible for the crimes of criminal association, irregular fuel trade, the usurpation of union assets, ideological falsehood and money laundering.
The seizures will undergo analysis and expertise to compose the inquiry
