The Federal Police arrested this Thursday (22) Seven people suspected of involvement in the kidnapping and torture From a man in Caracaraí (RR), as part of Operation Jeremiah 22:17.
The action investigates the performance of a criminal group linked to the illegal extraction and transport of yanomami indigenous land ores.
According to the investigations, the group kidnapped and tortured the victim to reveal the whereabouts of an allegedly stolen cassiterite load.

- Adriana Sousa dos Santos, councilor of Caracaraí (Republicans), known as “Adriana da Civil”;
- Adriano Félix Claudino da Silva, Civil Police Delegate of Amazonas;
- Álvaro Tiburcio Steinheuser, civil police officer from Amazonas;
- Edmilton Freire dos Santos, civil police officer from Amazonas;
- Jan Elber Dantas Ferreira, Military Police of Roraima;
- Lidivan Santos dos Reis, car sales businessman;
- Matheus Possebon, businessman in the music sector.
The agents involved would have worked outside official functions, providing clandestine security and illegal escort services.
13 search and seizure warrants were served and seven temporary arrest in Roraima, Amazonas, Bahia, Sao Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul.
The investigation began with the Caracaraí Prosecutor’s Office.
