PF holds five people for drug trafficking at Guarulhos Airport

The Federal Police held five arrests at Guarulhos International Airport between last Tuesday (20) and this Wednesday (21). Of the five, three Brazilians had swallowed cocaine capsules and tried to board for France.

According to the PF, the trio was intercepted by the agents when they performed migratory control. During interviews for investigation, they confessed to having eaten the capsules.

After being arrested, all were sent to the hospital to exhibit the capsules containing the drug. They will remain in hospital custody until they are discharged and be referred to a prison.

In addition to the three, another Brazilian was arrested at the terminal, as he already had an open arrest warrant.

The other detainee, passenger of the Dominican Republic, was arrested during immigration inspection for the use of false document.

Also in a statement, the PF reported that cases of trafficking and the use of false document will be presented to the Federal Court, where the accused should respond to the charges
