The Federal Police are investigating an attack by a group of motorcyclists against a corporation agent in the center of Manaus (AM).
Exclusive images obtained by CNN show the group on an avenue in the capital of Amazonas, in the center-south zone, when a black car also stops next to the PF agent’s vehicle and the suspects start the attack.

The attack took place in the early hours of last Saturday (18) and the case began to be investigated.
This Wednesday (22), the PF launched Operation Last March, which investigates the group of motorcyclists.
Twenty-two agents carried out six search and seizure warrants at the homes of those being investigated. The court orders aim to elucidate the motivation of the group, which physically attacked the police officer.
According to the PF, images from security circuit cameras helped identify those participating in the criminal act. The victim, already unconscious, was rescued by military police officers who were patrolling the neighborhood, at which point the men fled the scene taking the police officer’s functional card.
The report found that the six investigated are businessmen from Manaus. They gave a statement to the PF and said they were drunk. They also stated that they did not know that the victim attacked was a PF agent. Delegates in the case are investigating whether this report is true.
Those involved may be held responsible for the crimes of attempted qualified homicide, criminal association and aggravated robbery, among others. The sum of the penalties provided for the crimes investigated can exceed 20 years in prison.
