This Tuesday morning (1), the Federal Police executed two search and seizure warrants in the state of Paraná against suspects of planning the death of a federal tax auditor from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA).
The investigation began in August this year, after the employee reported two car accidents she suffered under suspicious circumstances. The agents discovered that the server was being followed at least two weeks before the last attack she suffered.
According to the PF, those suspected of being behind the attacks are linked to a slaughterhouse that was inspected by the auditor. The investigation indicates that it would be in their interest to remove the professional from the inspection.
At the beginning of the investigations, a MAPA team carried out an inspection of the suspected slaughterhouse, accompanied by the Federal Police.
Around ten federal police officers participate in executing the warrants in the cities of Paranavaí and Nova Londrina.
The case is being investigated as a possible attempted murder.
