A man is being investigated for practicing a virtual rape against a teenager 14 years old. The suspect was the target of Operation Carcará, held on Wednesday (9) by the Federal Police in the city of Regeneration, Piauí.
According to the police, the man, who used a fake name on the internet, made threats to get images of the victim. “The investigations indicate that the suspect determined that the victim, under 14, committed and recorded acts of sexual violence against themselves and send them through social networks, under threats of exposure, if they did not meet their will,” said the Federal Police.
Police investigate whether the suspect would have made other victims. Man can be liable in court for crimes of production, possession and sharing of material of sexual violence involving children or adolescents, as well as rape of vulnerable.
During Operation Carcará 17, which aims to combat the production, storage and sharing of material related to infettime sexual abuse and virtual rape, was fulfilling a madado and search and seizure.
The operation is part of a larger investigation by the Federal Police, which was dismembered and conducted by several units from different states. Police warn parents to monitor and guide their children.
